Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg, Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 2015

I have a soft spot for this wine and this terroir … I adore these wines. It’s produced in the top end of the Fusselot vineyard near the cemetery. The bouquet is quite expressive and forward with lovely ripe fruit and a quite distinct Chambolle minerality. On the palate beautiful sweet fruit with a tremendous nerve and energy … it’s fresh and perfectly balanced offering a intense but delicate expression of this lovely terroir. The combination of the sweet mid-palate fruit and the expression of terroir is just magnificent.
