The Lavaux St. Jacques 2013 is quite a step up from the Les Corvees village. The is more generous offering red and dark fruits – dark cherries, boysenberries and forest strawberries + a hint of oak and a nice floral element to the otherwise earthy minerality. On the palate lovely mid-palate fruit – quite generous and forward after some time in the glass – offering a nice drinkablitity. It’s balanced and quite forward for the vintage – a classic Lavaux St. Jacques in the making.
