During Les Grand Jours de Bourgogne, and the last week in Champagne, many people came over to greet me and introduce themselves. Thanks a lot for the kind and encouraging words.
I enjoy meeting people; it’s a great part of wine, and talking to wine lovers from different countries adds to my knowledge, and informs me as to how my writing is perceived in various parts of the world.
Special thanks to the Asian friends of the Winehog for their friendly greetings and interest for my work.
Also, in restaurants people are starting to discreetly say hello, and this has given me added motivation to take on the “food d’émotion” challenge: recommending restaurants with that special vibe and personality.
