And on that topic, this year’s Saint-Vincent Tournante gathering brought more than 70,000 people to the celebration in the two small villages of Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. This is really not my thing – I thought – but I was surprised to have some truly enjoyable wines in the glass. I ended up doing 11,000 steps and spending five hours in the winter sun, enjoying myself with friends I met on the way. Don’t go to this type of event for the wines; go to meet your friends and bathe in the gathering of Burgundy lovers. Kippis!
