Winehog Harvest News 2017 #9

We have now reached the stage where quite a lot of the big Grand Crus of Vosne-Romanée are being harvested.

Yesterday – Saturday September 9th – DOmaine du Comte Liger-Belair harvested La Romanée, one of the top reds of Burgundy – see photo below.

In the vineyard the team is doing the hard work … picking the grapes .. in the background more activity – difficult to see but could be pickers in La Tâche or the Montille team in Malconsort.

Down the slope below the La Romanée and Romanée-Conti – Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux picked their top cuvée the excellent Romanée Saint-Vivant – healthy grapes – see photo below.
