Vincent Wine Company is a small winery located in the Eola Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. They make Pinot Noirs, Chardonnay and Gamay – and have provided the Winehog with some samples this summer.
Vincent Wine Company, Chardonnay Willamette Valley “Tardive” 2017 is a pretty “standard” Chardonnay – hence not a late havest and otherwise associated with the term “Tardive”. The 2017 is a fine and balanced wine – a bit on the rich side, with somewhat welvet fruit. It’s slightly generous on the palate – relatively low acidity it seems – yet well balanced. With the right dish it will show very well – a enjoyable glass in my view.
(Drink From 2019) – Good (86 – 87p) – Tasted 30/05/2019.
