Winehog has been in operation since 2011- wow, 15 years! – stretching from a hobby wine blog to now a small team effort diving into Burgundy without safety nets and worries caused by impatient background investors.
Wine, vineyards, vignerons and the whole of Burgundy have been – and still are linked together by articles, photos and videos … and while the world is moving on, we – the Winehog – also need to develop and sharpen both the pen and attitude.

I have therefore decided to expand the team with three fellow wine lovers and Burgundy fanatics –
Finding new talent and prospects is the very core of Winehog, and I am therefore thirilled to have May-Lin Voarick on board as Wine Scout & New Talents Specialist.
Back to one of the core qualities of the Winehog we now have Pearl Liu who is an expert in old Burgundies – and will strengthen the coverage of old wines and the history of the region.
And to improve the visual side of our coverage of Burgundy and other wine districts, I have entered into a new cooperation with Dr Chua Yang, who is a very talented and characterful addition to the Winehog team.
Together we will rock the boat and wine world and hopefully challenge you – the readers – to some joyful wine experiences.
The world is not only DRC, Domaine Bizot and Comte Liger-Belair and other prominent producers … it’s also great and more affordable Beaujolais and aligotés.
I will focus more on the emtional wines produced not only in Burgundy but als in other wine growing areas and regions.
And we also need to cover the more negative sides, mentioning the hedonistic disgrace of some of the big Beaune brands – that year after year seem to be producing what appears to be historic relics of oaky Pinot and Chardonnay.
Vin d`émotion all the way
