Comte de Vogue, Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 1994

By Steen Öhman September 14, 2011 -

The 1994 Amoureuses is a nice wine served on it's own. Fine mature notes in the bouquet, orange peel, a slight hint of truffle, but stil a quite dark expression of the fruit. On the palate also mature notes, but still also some unresolved dark fruit. Very nice but lacking some freshness. Was served …

Domaine Dujac, Morey Saint Denis Blanc 2002

By Steen Öhman September 13, 2011 -

The Morey Saint Denis Blanc 2002 from Dujac offer fine drinkability. The Bouquet is quite discrete, with only a few mature notes. Very well balanced and good harmony. Not a very complex minerality, but still a well structured wine, with a medium body and a fine core of ripe fruit. Will keep and …

Fritz Haag, Bruneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Spätlese 1990 #12

By Steen Öhman September 13, 2011 -

Fritz Haag made excellent wines in 1990, and the Spätlese #12 is no exception. Fine mature notes in the Bouquet, but stil fresh and vibrant. On the palate classic spätlese, very fresh, balanced and with moderate sweetness. The lovely ripe acidity of the vintage and the fresh fruit makes a very …

Georges Roumier, Chambolle Musigny 2008

By Steen Öhman September 12, 2011 -

The Chambolle village has a wonderful bouquet of red fruits and minerality. On the palate very good minarality, and a light to medium body. Fine red and very juicy coulis fruit - a pleasure. This is classic Burgundy, ripe fruit balanced by very good acidity and a fine minerality. Closing down now …

Chateau Cos d’Estournel 1928

By Steen Öhman September 11, 2011 -

The Cos d'Estournel 1928 is a fantastic wine. At age 83 it's still fresh and vibrant - impressive. The bouquet offers orange notes, forest bed, truffles and is still fruity. The palate is very vibrant with a wonderful acidity, and a core of ripe red fruits. Medium body with a very good structure and …
