The sweetness has kept this wine balanced for 56 years, and where a lot of other white Bordeaux fall appart, this has kept focus and quite some freshness. Still very mature notes of Semillion or even Botrytis in the nose, and the palate fine grip and length. Impressive – but not really likeable!
