Domaine Armand Rousseau, Lavaux St. Jacques 2005

The Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux Saint Jacques 2005 is still quite backward and restrained. The nose offer dark cherries, raspberries whit hints of red currant all brought forward by a earthy minerality. On the palate somewhat unresolved with a core of dark fruit .. it clearly needs time to unfold. It is no doubt a fine effort – its just too early. One need to stay away from the 2005s
