Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cherbaudes is a bit puzzling currently. In the nose quite delightful sweet red fruit – cherries, hints of forest strawberries and red currant .. spiced with a discrete eathy minerality. On the palate organic red and velvet fruit with fine midpalate weight – nicely balanced and quite long. The fruit is forward and seems very sweet with some hints of slightly problematic unclean notes reminding me of older vintages of Fourrier. Fruit on the sweet side for my palate .. at this stage at least.

They are perhaps not the most concentrated or powerful wines, but their gorgeous fruity character appeals to my hedonistic ...
