Rating and evaluating wines is a personal thing – although some claim a completely impartial and unbiased palate!
I, on the other hand, admit that I have my preferences and a palate that has some biases that in the end will influence my ratings and choices.
Choosing my vins d’émotion is therefore also biased, but in the end I feel that they will provide most Burgundy fans with tremendous hedonistic pleasure, regardless of preferences and taste. These are great wines for most palates.
I have therefore decided to list my vins d’émotion below, and update this list moving forward.
The structure of this document will no doubt change over time, but we shall see …
