J.J. Prum, Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese 1994 #2097

This 1994 Auslese from Prum is a wonderful wine. Quite mature notes in the bouquet, but still some fresh sweet riesling aromas – classic Prum. On the palate medium sweet – the way an Auslese should be. Very fine freshness from the impressive 1994 acidity – Prum and 1994 is a perfect match. My kind of Auslese … loved every sip. The AP number is #2097, so this Auslese was approved in 1997 – two years later than usual.
