Fritz Haag, Auslese GK 1990 # 11 (96p) last in a set of five Auslese GK – and the best wine at the tasing. In my view this is one of the all time best wines from Weingut Fritz Haag. It’s not overly heavy, but has a freshness, balance and harmony, as many of the heavier wines from recent vintages are missing. Classical Auslese GK, really doesn’t get much better than this. Outstanding and close to extraordinary. Thanks Wilhelm! (now – 2030) – 96p
