It seems like Jean-Nicolas Méo is on a winning streak. Each vintage has shown very well during the last four to five years.
But what about the 2024 vintage ? A difficult year, and a year that does not seem like it would suit the Méo style perfectly.
Some 2024s have a somewhat austere side, and there is a risk that the François Frères oak in the Méo wines will accentuate this tendency.
Wines were tasted with wine maker María Ignacia Navarro González on November 18th 2025.
But let’s see!

To the wines
To the notes – Méo-Camuzet 2024
Méo-Camuzet Marsannay 2024
Rather classic Marsannay … a bit on the darker side (as expected) … but the phenolics seem relatively fine.
(Drink from 2025) – Very Good (87p)
Domaine Méo-Camuzet Chambolle-Musigny 2024
Lovely Chambolle … oak a bit forward currently. The wine is lightfooted and quite vivid 30% new oak; 85% is Fraçois Frères and the rest is Cavin – quite an enjoyable glass.
