Pierre Vincent the winemaker and manager of Domaine de la Vougeraie is going to start at Domaine Leflaive in Puligny Montrachet from the beginning of 2017.
He will replace Eric Remy, the current winemaker at Domaine Leflaive. Eric Remy took over from Pierre Morey in 2008, after working with Pierre Morey at Domaine Leflaive for five years as celler master – read the full story on Bourgogne Aujourd’hui.
Going back Pierre Morey began at Domaine Leflaive in 1988 and took over from the longtime winemaker Jean Virot in 1990 after working alongside him for five years as cellar master.
Pierre Vincent took over from Pascal Marchand at Domaine de la Vougeraie in 2006, hence he has now been in charge of the winemaking for 10 years at the large Boisset owned estate in Premeaux. Previously Pierre Vincent was winemaker at Maison Jaffelin from 2003 to 2006.
