It is very early, but I need to speak up about the 2019 Burgundies, as they seem to be of a special, almost royal, breed and class.
I have during the past weeks tasted quite a few 2019s – some through malolactic fermentation, others not -and here are my early impressions.
Let’s put it this way: The vins d’émotion seem to be stacked in some cellars just waiting for elevage.
