Domaine Antoine Jobard, Bourgogne Blanc 2009

The Bourgogne Blanc from Antoine Jobard is a very very good bargain. In reality this is a fine village Meursault, made from 4 plots of village Meursault. The bouquet has a wonderful Meursault minerality with a fine ripe yellow fruit. Notes of honey, mandarin and citrus zest. On the palate fine minerality – very impressive for a Bourgogne Blanc – quite full body with a good acidity. Good balance, but the fruit is slighly sweet and dense. Summing up, amazing quality at this price, and very impressive wine for the vintage.
