The Amoureuses 07 from Bertheau is still quite tight and focused but nevertheless offer plenty of charm and drinkability. In the nose finely detailed red fruit supported by a filigree and quite powerful minerality from the lovely Amouresus terroir. On the palate .. quite lightfooted .. with a focused core of red fruit .. have some secondary aromas .. but otherwise still fresh and vibrant offering a crisp and energetic side of the 2007 vintage. A classic Bertheau .. elegant, fine drinkability and a lot of joie de vivre.
