Domaine Cathiard, Vosne-Romanee Aux Reignots 2012

The 2012 Aux Reignots from Cathiard is a delightfully filigree effort. The nose is crammed with red and dark fruit – boysenberries, pomegranate, red and dark cherries + a selection of red forrest berries – spiced with violets and a touch of gun powder. On the palate rich, airy and silky fruit – medium weight – intense yet very refined and lightfooted. Adore the filigree minerality and the vibrant nerve in the juicy fruit. A gorgeous Aux Reignots.
