The disastrous 2024 vintage has set the 2023 vintage in an even more attractive and favorable light. The 2023s, in many ways, can supply what Burgundy will now be lacking: wine!
The 2024 vintage will be extremely small, especially for the reds, whereas 2023 has reds and whites in abundance (let’s see how far abundance can stretch).
Furthermore, the 2023s are of very good quality. Currently, the quality of 2024 is more or less unknown territory.
So really time to refocus on 2023!
