The Wehlener Sonnenuhr spätlese 1994 #795 from J.J. Prum is a lovely old school spätlese. In the bouquet lovely fruit and minerality – notes of coffee, almonds and dried orchard fruits. On the palate medium sweet, fine freshness lovely balance from the excellent 1994 acidity. Starting to show slightly creamy notes, but still very vibrant and frisky. Not mature, but showing the age with some matured notes – what a lovely spätlese.
