The Personal Tours
The Winehog and my good friend, Clarissa, now offer guided experiences where we take you on a personal guided tour. You will have the chance to breathe and take in the core of Burgundian culture – the villages, the vineyards, the wines and the food.
These are not the standard van tours with a mixed group … and we have tried to take this to a higher level in every way.
Clarissa does the traditional guiding, and the Winehog explains the more geeky stuff.
During lunch, I will answer all questions you may have and give you advice about buying the right Burgundies.
Burgundy and Burgundian wine is taken very seriously by some. We prefer to focus on enjoying the wines and region, and will step up the knowledge level if needed. The Winehog can be very geeky … and Clarissa, the ever-charming host.
Producer Visits
We work with several wine producers, and always try to pick the ones who can communicate and have wine of a very good quality – i.e. Vin d’émotion.
We try to get the best, but Domaine de la Romanée Conti is not on the agenda; there are limits to who you can expect to visit in Burgundy under normal circumstances.
If you have special contacts that allow for visiting specific Domaines, we can include these in the tour, and we can join the tastings if you wish.
Wine is for sharing … as is the joy of touring Burgundy.

Price
Base Price: 990 EUR for a group of 2 persons. This price covers a guided tour and Q&A with Steen Öhman, accompanying guidance from Clarissa, transport and practical advice in navigating Burgundy to make the most of your trip.
Lunch will be at your expense and ambitions. We will guide you regarding food and wine to ensure a lovely experience. The Winehog will be present during lunch, so feel free to discuss all things Burgundy at this time. Let us chat about Burgundian wines and vignerons – all the juicy stuff.
Full Transparency
The concept is very simple – the tour is 990 EUR. The only additional cost is the lunch, where your choice of wine will determine the number on the check, and the choice of food is usually around 50 EUR for a 2 to 3-course meal.
I will advise about the wines … at any given price level … to ensure we get a wine that will please your palate. We will join you – but very limited on the wine side, as we will drive, explain and talk also after lunch.
Bigger Groups
It is possible to have bigger groups, and this will increase the price by 50 EUR per person … as we need to have a larger car available.
We don’t take larger groups than 5 … as these big groups don’t allow for discussions and a close dialogue.
