Pierre Vincent is a very talented winemaker who has experience from, amongst others, Domaine de la Vougeraie and Domaine Leflaive.
When the lovely estate Terres went up for sale, Pierre Vincent, along with investors, acquired this lovely estate located at the Meursault-end of Auxey Duresses.

The estate had lovely vineyards. Some came from the acquisition of Domaine Dublere in 2016 and others date back longer. In general, the vineyards are old … most beyond 60 years … so, a very good foundation for making great wine.
Pierre Vincent had the responsibility of making Domaine Leflaive from 2017 to 2024. In July 2023, the investors in the Solexia Group took possession of the Domaine des Terres de Velle in Auxey-Duresses. With this group, we have Pierre Vincent who stayed on at Domaine Leflaive until the end of 2024.
Pierre Vincent of Domaine Pierre Vincent
I mainly know Pierre Vincent from Domaine Leflaive, and as a white wine producer which he still is, even though he produces some delightful reds at his new estate. The reds are elegant and almost silky, with a nice light extraction and use of oak.
Some of the whites are from bigger terroirs, and from these, Pierre Vincent produces some quite phenomenal wines … style-wise refined and elegant with a lovely purity and acidity, all from old vines.
The whites are definitely top end … a new star is born.

To the notes from my tasting on May 27th 2025.
Domaine Pierre Vincent Bourgogne 2023
The Bourgogne rouge is made with 20% new oak. 6 barrels and a light toasted oak give a lovely silky note … elegant and destemmed.

Domaine Pierre Vincent Savigny Aux Vergelesses 2023
The Savigny Vergelesses is a classic with a clear saline mineral note and a delicate reductive style… really an elegant Vergelesses with a lovely freshness. A bit ripe on the phenolics, but it works well with the salinity.

The Grands Charrons is a gem of old vines goodness.
