The end of Domaine Sirugue is now here … and for the next five vintages, starting with 2023, the wines will be sold under the brand Arnaud et Sophie (Sirugue et Noellat).
To clarify, from the 2023 vintage, the wines from the Sirugue estate are be sold under the Arnaud et Sophie label. After five years, they will be sold under Arnaud (Sirugue) et Sophie’s (Noellat) management – but Marie-France Sirugue’s daughter Marie-Paule Reynaud will then claim her part of the family’s vineyards.

Starting with this vintage, 2023, Arnaud Sirugue have made the wines alone – the wines were previously made by Arnaud alongside his father Jean-Louis.
Arnaud and Sofie have started a new office and chai building in Vosne-Romanée just below and behind the Anne Gros garage (for tractors). The new project creates a very impressive building where the chai part is already completed.

The Arnaud & Sophie tasting on April 8, 2025
The 2023 wines were vinified in the old estate and setup in Vosne, so, it is difficult to say if the new building is having an effect yet. I do, however, have a very good feeling about the 2023s … it seems like Arnaud has taken the 2023s to a higher level … we will see when we have 2025, as 2024 is a difficult vintage to benchmark with!
This is definitely an estate to follow.
Let’s taste!
Arnaud et Sophie Bourgogne Passetoutgrains 2023
The Bourgogne Rouge is showing nicely with a fine phenolic ripeness for this level. A nice glass for a apéro … a true vin de soif. Sophie and Arnaud make these wines seem effortless and so drinkable …
(Drink from 2025) – Good (86-87p) –
Arnaud et Sophie Bourgogne Rouge 2023
The Bourgogne Rouge is showing nicely, although slightly diluted. A nice glass for an apéro … with a nice juiciness.
(Drink from 2025) – Good (86-87p) –
Arnaud et Sophie Ladoix-Serrigny Buisson 2023
The Ladoix has more intensity, and the oak is well integrated. To me, this is better than the previous vintages, where the toasting of the oak sometimes was slightly on the steep side. Arnaud is more careful with the toasted oak. The phenolic ripeness seems to be well-judged.
(Drink from 2025) – Good+ (86-87p) –
Arnaud et Sophie Chambolle-Musigny Les Mombies 2023
The Chambolle Mombies come from vines located near the RD 974 below the village. The high proportion of whole-cluster grapes and the oak is well integrated. Best integration of the oak in the Chambolle so far …
(Drink from 2030) – Very Good (89p) –
