There are plenty of expensive – and indifferent – wines. There are however fewer which regardless of price are hedonistic treasures. But they are there to be found if you care to look beyond the 100-point scale.
I assert again that appreciation, enjoyment, and quality are measured on the vin d’émotion scale, not the 100-point scale.
I recommend wines based on their emotional impact. That is the definition of vin d`émotion. Will the wine make you smile? Will it make you joyful beyond belief? Will it bring laughter? Is it mind-bendingly hedonistic?
