Jasper Morris has published the second edition of his book Inside Burgundy. The new edition includes additional information added to the already impressive first edition, which I have in electronic form.
It is an impressive book, and the level of detail is excellent. A great deal of work has been put into the update; it is definitely not just a brush-up of the first version.
I probably don’t use books like this as other people do, but it will definitely find its way into my work exploring wines and vineyards.
For the interested collector, it’s a great book to use for exploring Burgundy. Both as a new collector, or even as a more seasoned drinker (meant in the nicest possible way), this tome is important to have on the shelf.
The book can be used in different ways, regardless if you share Jasper Morris’s palate. There’s a lot of information to be found here, and while it’s perhaps not as geeky as the Winehog, Jasper covers a lot of ground.
I admire the work put into publishing this book, and recommend it wholeheartedly. Well done, Jasper!
