I have, as you know, asked readers to pitch in with the vins d’émotion you have enjoyed over the years.
I will publish some of these here to show more examples and explanations of what a vin d’émotion is – to you and to me.
The 1st vin d’émotion
2015 Domaine Bizot Vosne-Romanée (tasted blind in Dec 2022) – Taipei, Taiwan
Very floral notes, seductive and aromatic nose, fresh and full of energy (not surprising because of the great vintage), this shows rose petals, red cherries, and a touch of spices. Well balanced, with a great finish. Some guessed DRC and some guessed Leroy! Everyone was shocked at how well a Bizot VR village performed. Well done, Monsieur Jean-Yves Bizot!
Jacky – from Taiwan
Winehog comment
I agree with Jacky – the Bizot Vosne-Romanée wines are out of this world; vins d’émotion all the way.
I still want to know your vins d’émotion
Send me a message (below) and tell me about the wine, when you drank it (month/year), and a few (or many) words that explain why you loved it. I will publish some of your wines here on Winehog.
Pitch in guys and gals. I know we share the passion.
Note … only the wine and your first name (free of choise) will be mentioned. Only qualified wines within the scope will be published – mainly Burgundies.
