Winehog started with mapping the vineyards, and while I have been maintaining this over the years, I think it is time to revitalise the maps and explore some of the great terroirs in the 1er crus and village categories.

I have been talking to a lot of readers, and almost everyone mentions the vineyard mapping as one of the features they like about the Winehog.
So – back to the maps – mapping my favourites
I love a lot of these vineyards, and I have been trying to highlight my favourites in each appellation, starting with the three big Beaune areas … Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny Montrachet and Meursault.

Favourites in Puligny-Montrachet
Favourites in Meursault
I have in each village tried to pick my favourites and will in the next week and months take a closer look at these 1er crus and village vineyards and plots.
