Vosne Romanee

Domaine Forey, Vosne Romanee Petits Monts 2011

By Steen Öhman February 9, 2013 -

The Vosne Romanee Petits Monts is my favorite wine in the Forey lineup. The bouquet is very expressive with red and darker forest berries - lovely Vosne spices with notes of violets and peony rose. On the palate a very good energy and nerve in the lovely red fruit. Fine depth in the fruit - love the …

Dugat-Py, Vosne Romanee Vieilles Vignes 2002

By Steen Öhman January 28, 2013 -

The Vosne-Romanee 2002 V.V. is really starting to show. It's made from the two Flagey lieux-dits, Les Quartier de Nuits and Les Violettes. The bouquet is showing sweet red fruit with notes of raspberries, sous-bois, asian spices - hints of violets, orange peel. On the palate still quite some grip …

Domaine Forey, Vosne-Romanee 2011

By Steen Öhman January 24, 2013 -

The Vosne Romanee 2011 is a really beautiful village wine. In the bouquet lovely Vosne spices and a fine expression of forest berries. On the palate lovely pinot fruit with a core quite sweet and lush red fruit - good energy and nerve. It's well balanced with a good backbone from the fresh acidity …

Hudelot-Noellat, Romanee-Saint-Vivant 2004

By Steen Öhman January 22, 2013 -

The Romanee-Saint-Vivant 2004 from Hudelot-Noellat has entered a matured stage, but is still some years from full maturity. In the bouquet red fruits with notes of raspberries, amarena cherries and a slight hint of prunes. There is still a slight notes of pine needles but this seems to blow of as …
