The 1990 Suduiraut is a very nice mature Sauternes. The bouquet has a good balance of dried fruit and caramel notes. On the palate very good sweetness and concentration, a good length and balance. The flavors are rich with dried fruits and caramel. It has a wonderful creamy texture, thus making it a good match for some desserts. The wine does however lack some focus and freshness compared with the best Sauternes. Must say I prefer Sauternes with more acidity and focus, but nevertheless I enjoyed this wine.
