Retention

We will retain the data that we process on behalf of our customers for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Winehog stores data for transactions worldwide for which retention is regulated by many different laws and guidelines.

We will retain transaction data for active customers for at least the length of time required by law, which for example is 10 years in the EU.

It is our policy to provide notifications, whether such notifications are required by law or are for marketing or other business-related purposes, to you via email, written notice, or through posting of such notice on the service, as determined by Winehog in its sole discretion.

We reserve the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to you, provided that you may opt out of certain means of notification as described in these terms and conditions.
Data storage

Winehog processes and stores your business data on servers located in the European Union (EU). All business data are stored at Taxamo in Ireland. Winehog do not have access to creditcard informations in any shape or form, and all handling of these data are done outside the Winehog systems – via external payment providers.

Winehog may transfer information that you provide to us, including personal information, to third parties across borders and to other countries or jurisdictions around the world to carry out the requirements of providing our service, to the extent that the transfer complies with EU laws.

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who work for us or for one of our suppliers.

Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this data processing policy.

Service providers

We work with third party service providers who provide website, application development, hosting, maintenance, and other services for us.

The website is hosted within EU.

These third parties may have access to, or process personal data or client data as part of providing those services for us.

We limit the information provided to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and our contracts with them require them to maintain the confidentiality of such information.

Data processing changes

All changes to this Data Processing Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. When we change the policy in a material manner, we will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site, prior to the change becoming effective and update the ‘Effective date’.
