I have decided to step down from the Winehog temple and throne and get a more informal and handheld tone and style.
This means being more direct in communicating what I feel, and the goal is to give my more spontaneous view on the wine. I believe we can easily think both the wine and the communication about the bottle to death.
Will try to keep it direct … short … and to the point.

I focus on Vin d’émotion and the Vin d’émotion heart will guide you … similar to the point system, if that is more your thing.
I will add informal comments to describe the interesting or valuable details in the comments … and not a full description of every wine, regardless …. it’s a waste of your time if the wine is not evoking some interest … just saying! Many of the impressions are linked to tasting notes made from barrel anyhow and are not necessarily linked fully to the final bottled wine.
I like to be informal … so I will try to be. Informal does not have to be rude or rough, and of course, I will write with consideration for the people behind the wines.
So – are you ready to rock the boat and go handheld ?
And yes …
I have decided to cut down on the manual editing and leave this to the so-called “Artificial Intelligence” … presumably it’s language and grammar-wise more intelligent than a country Hog.
I only have my palate, my cheap imagination, my costly Burgundy craving and the desire to amuse you with some good wines.

- A true vin d’émotion – a Burgundy of passion
- A truly hedonistic wine – lively and enjoyable
- A vivacious wine for pure indulgance
- A potential vin d´émotion - frais et léger
