Ledy Vins is a new, exciting estate in Nuits-Saint-Georges. 2023 was Aurélie’s first vintage, and in 2024, she has already expanded the portfolio with three new wines – including a Grand Cru from the Corton vineyard.
The level of creativity and the energy charge coming from this small domaine is flabbergasting – and leaves the followers and even friends of the Domaine almost out of breath.
Aurélie musters amazing energy in this male-dominated and very conservative Burgundian wine world.
Being a Nuiton myself (a very new Nuiton) – I have found that Nuits-Saint-Georges is perhaps not the most dynamic and open minded place in Burgundy, And this just underlines the talent and persistance Aurélie has … truly impressive and presumably not without its battles.
Aurélie is a fantastic personality with a lot of talents and abilities, and it is impressive that she maintains the link between the wines and the artistic expression of the labels and the other communication from the estate. This is a big task to take on while making the wines and building the estate around the new wines.
In 2024, Ledy vins has continued the close link between wines and label design that was introduced in 2023 … and the strong artistic line is continuing in 2024 with photos from Anna Bakurova.

The design and the labels – Ledy Vins
Ledy Vins has a very prominent design line, and this includes a new label design each vintage … here are the new 2024 labels. The labels are still visually strong and definitely give the wines prominence and character.
They stand out with a lovely artistic note … will be interesting to see the design line develop in the 2025 vintage.
Here are the new labels … for vintage 2024

The wines
Ledy Vins Aligoté “Vigne de 1955” 2024
The Vignes de 1955 is a treat, and the 2024 vintage suits the Aligoté grape very well, style-wise. The 2024 Aligoté from Aurélie Ledy is a mineral beauty with a lovely freshness and delightful depth. The fruit shows fine depth and intensity – vines from 1955 show their silkiness – rich, yet fresh with the coolness of the vintage. My mind wanders back to oysters or Coquille Saint Jacques – yes, it works very well, thanks!
(Drink from 2025) – Very Good – (90p) – ![]()
Ledy Vins Savigny-lès-Beaune Le Champs des Pruniers 2024
The Savigny Le Champs des Pruniers is a very elegant and delicate wine. Planted in 1955, gives a silky and harmonious vibe – with all the qualities normally associated with a good Savigny-lès-Beaune. 100% whole cluster. It is delicate, light-footed, with its delicate feel and silky textures. Only 11.5% alcohol does give a elegant and cool expression.
(Drink from 2029) – Very Good – (89p) – ![]()
Ledy Vins Nuits-Saint-Georges Le Côteau du Bois 2024
This is an old friend – the Côteau du Bois planted by Nicolas Faure. This is a young vineyard. I can see it from my living room, and I have now even climbed this 40-degree steep mountain behind the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges. 100% whole cluster in 2024. It has a lovely limestone minerality from the top of the Côte … quite intense with richer aromatics – delicate and refined for the application and the vintage. This is indeed an exciting terroir.
(Drink from 2032) – Very Good – (90p) –
Ledy Vins Volnay 2024
The Volnay is classic with a delicate fruit. Has a lovely fruit and style. Silky with a discreet style. Only 300 bottles made from the vineyards Lurets, Paux Bois, Grands Poisots and Petits Poisots. Also, 100% whole cluster … silky style Volnay. Has a very delicate fruit … this is a vin de soif of high quality.
(Drink from 2030) – Very Good – (89p) – ![]()
And then the three new wines
Ledy Vins Saint Romain 2024
The Saint-Romain is also 100% whole cluster. It’s spicy with a lovely mineral note. Good concentration and with a lovely cool style. Lovely and very drinkable wine.
(Drink from 2028) – Very Good – (88-89p) – ![]()
