The Gevrey-Chambertin 2012 from Dennis Mortet is still very youthful. The oak is quite dominant in the nose (caramel) – the fruit is relatively fresh offering both red and darker berries. On the palate fine fruit – good freshness and medium length. Need time … not a very complex wine currently.
(Drink From 2022) – Very Good (88p) – Tasted 21/03/2016
