Domaine Armand Rousseau, Clos St. Jacques 2007

The Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint Jacques 2007 from Rousseau is a gorgeous wine – youthful and drinking well. The nose is very refined offering delicate and fine berry notes – red currant, cherries and raspberries. On the palate harmonious and medium weight fruit – the finish is long and quite intense for the vintage. Love the cool and pure red fruit … classic 07 with all the virtues of the vintage. A delicate and filigree Clos Saint Jacques in the making.
