Domaine Dublère, Volnay Taillepieds 2008

The Volnay Taillepieds 2008 from Domaine Dublère is a lovely wine. It’s closing down now, but still a pleasure. In the nose fine red cherry notes with a lot of spicy minerality. On the palate fine red fruits – again cherries – wonderfully transparant and pure. Very good balance with a good structure. Not a big heavy wine, but the essence of pinot noir, delicate with a lot of finesse. Have tasted this wine several times with consistent notes. Watch out for Domaine Dublère they are really making some very fine wines.
