J.-F. Mugnier, Chambolle Musigny Les Fuees 2008

The 2008 Chambolle Les Fuees from J.-F. Mugnier is showing magnificently – maturing and very expressive. The bouquet offer maturing red fruit – strawberries, red currant and boysen berries – slightly tertiary with a hint of sous-bois. On the palate airy and transparent fruit – cool, juicy and delicate. It’s not a dense and powerful wine – but just so refined and juicy – its not mature but is developing well towards a fine level of maturity within the next 5 years or so – but will most likely keep quite a lot longer in a cold cellar.
