J.-F. Mugnier, Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 2004

The Chambolle Les Amoureuses 2004 has entered a lovely matured stage. The bouquet offer a lovely complexity with red and dark fruits – notes of raspberries, elderberries and blueberries – spiced with a hint of sous-bois. On the palate quite rich matured fruit – juicy and expressive – with a lovely energy from the filigree minerality of this gorgeous terroir. It’s very refined and fruity for the vintage – no green notes or austerity in this lovely wine. A very graceful wine … love this terroir.
