I just found a wonderful interview that Becky Wasserman gave to Jasper Morris before her passing in August 2021.
Jasper is both a colleague and a competitor, and while we don’t always see eye to eye regarding certain aspects of Burgundy wine, I respect his views and his knowledge.
He was close to Becky Wasserman and her family, living in the same village, Bouilland. Hence the interview, which is a fine tribute to her fantastic life with – and in – Burgundy.
She was one of the wine world’s great personalities, and if one wants to understand Burgundy, knowing her work is a an important part of the journey.
The Interview on the Becky Wasserman website.
Thanks to Paul and Peter Wasserman and Jasper Morris.
