The 2017 vintage is a lovely vintage giving good yields and fine quality – and it was therefore a great pleasure to visit Mugneret-Gibourg to taste this new vintage..
Mugneret-Gibourg was one of the estates that really suffered during the frost in 2016 harvest – and while it’s equally sad for all estates that lost grapes – the quality of the 2016s at Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg does make the frost damage somehow feel even worse … such gorgeous wines.
But back on track with the new cellar ..
The new generations at Mugneret-Gibourg
The cellar rebuilding at Mugneret-Gibourg is almost complete, making a lot of space for the wine production in the new and expanded cellar. Indeed a lovely space ..
Furthermore next generation is now in place – the daughters of Marie-Christine and Marie-Andrée (they have two daughters each) who now are getting more and more involved in the Mugneret-Gibourg estate in the fine new surroundings.
