Domaine Ramonet, Chassagne Boudriotte 2011

The Boudriotte from Ramonet is a classic 2011 … harmonious, pure and somewhat understated. In the nose rich white and yellow fruits … very pure … classic … with a lovely minerality and an almost creamy display of fruit. On the palate .. same story … very balanced, intense fruit on the midpalate .. rich, ripe and very pure. I really like the purity of this wine … but is somehow lacking some tension and nerve compared to vintages like 2008, 2010 and 2013. It’s only a minor complaint … a delightful glass regardless!
