The tasting Grandes Maisons Grands Cru during Grands Jours de Bourgogne included the opportunity to taste some great wines from the big houses.
The Latricieres-Chambertin 2010 from Albert Bichot is a real treat. The nose is brimming with red and dark berry fruit – brought forward by a vivid mineral note. On the palate tremedous mid-palate intensity and energy – very vibrant and vivacious – offering some of the best sides of the 2010 vintage. The intensity is delightful – a lovely Latricieres in the making – adore the cool 2010s. Quite forward currently – need at least 10 years to unfold full complexity.
(Drink from 2026) – Very Fine+ – (94 – 95p) – Tasted 15/03/2018.
