European societies are buckling under the weight of the coronavirus, and structures, services and social life have ground to a halt because of this until-recently-unknown disease.
This shows how fragile the world is – mine, yours and that of the people who bring us so much pleasure: vignerons, wine merchants and restaurateurs.
This is indeed a serious moment, and it will have serious ramifications on the lives we all live.
So please, in the months to come, remember the people who give you pleasure and rich experiences – vignerons, restaurateurs, wine merchants – and support them when you can. This is going to be hard.
I will try to keep the Winehog running unchanged, but no one knows how long the travel ban in Europe will continue.
Friends inside Burgundy and from the rest of the world: Stay fresh, support the providers of hedonistic pleasure, and remember to enjoy!
Warm regards
Steen Öhman

The 1967 Beaumonts from Charles Noellat is a sensuel beauty. Requires 2 - 3 hours to unfold completely with sous bois, asian spices and delicate red forest fruits. Not a big wine, not a great wine … but such a delight … merci
