I am back at Domaine Ghislaine Barthod to taste the 2021s with Clément Boillot, who had prepared a small selection of the estate’s wines.
Times have changed at Barthod, as Ghislaine’s son Clément has taken over the family’s wine portfolio, consisting of three domaines: his own endeavour in Beaujolais; his father’s estate, Domaine Louis Boillot; and Domaine Ghislaine Barthod from his mother.
Big changes on the ground, although not necessarily in style. Still, quite a transformation for Clément.
