Sometimes even I am lost for words … and then through the inspiration of good and inspirational friends, I find my way through language barriers and the ever-deterioration of the written code.
I have been puzzled by the French term “Frais et Legér” used much by a very good friend “.. a great term … but not quite encompassing and French with this stupid accent that I tend to forget.
To explain … “Only when the phenolic ripeness is perfect, can you have the chance to achieve a true Vin d’émotion. It will have the effortlessness, the energy and the vividness to give you the beauty that will offer you an experience with tension … frais et léger.
When you taste it, you are sold … and while you are enjoying the beauty and delicacy, you are already exploring the possibility of getting another bottle – frais et léger.”
… the issue is to get the energy and tension into the description …
and here … another dear friend … Frankie Fang… my blessed goddess – she inspired me to “life-giving” …
life-giving
[lahyf-giv-ing]
my take on
LIFE-GIVING – Imparting, or having the ability to impart, life or vitality; invigorating; vitalizing – even giving love and praise.
Life-giving is a broader term than “Frais et Léger” but then also more precise … especially the word vitalising is essential… so life-giving will moving forward be used as a descriptor of vin d’émotion … as will “vitalizing”.
Vitalizing … a good word with the energy needed … and life-giving, even broader, taking it beyond.
The small but vital update
Only when the phenolic ripeness is perfect, can you have the chance to achieve a true Vin d’émotion. It will have the effortlessness, the energy and the vividness to give you the beauty that will offer you an experience with tension and with a life-giving vitality – frais et léger.
When you taste it, you are sold … and while you are enjoying the beauty and delicacy, you are already exploring the possibility of getting another bottle.
Gargoyles, with their grotesque and often monstrous appearance, have long been associated with protection and warding off evil spirits. They were believed to serve as guardians, watching over buildings and their inhabitants, and keeping away any malevolent forces.
