Louis Jadot Les Cazetiers 1990

By Steen Öhman June 27, 2011 - Leave a Comment

Louis Jadot Cazetiers 1990 a nice mature Burgundy, with the typical spicy Jadot style. Vintage and terroir is a perfect match, and the wine is now approaching its optimum - it will probably keep another 10 years, but will hardly get better. One can hope the hot 1999 wines evolves towards the …

Georges Roumier Bonnes Mares 2007

By Steen Öhman June 27, 2011 - Leave a Comment

Georges Roumier, Bonnes Mares 2007 (93p) was relatively closed, but still tasted good. A very fine wine, with even greater potential, and maybe it deserves a better rating .... but it really need more time. Very fine. (2018 - 2030) - 93p …

Emmanuel Rouget Cros Parantoux 2003

By Steen Öhman June 27, 2011 - Leave a Comment

I really don't like the 2003 vintage in Burgundy. Emmanuel Rouget Cros Parantoux 2003 is no exception. Louis Jadot Beaune Coucheraux 1955

By Steen Öhman June 27, 2011 - Leave a Comment

Beaune Coucheraux Grand Cru 1955 fro Louis Jadot. The wine was very developed, but still had some fruit and body, but it is in serious decline. Difficult to judge a wine like this, but it's still hiding elements of greatness behind the oxidized bouquet.(Drink now) - 86p …

Domaine Dujac Aux Combottes 1999

By Steen Öhman June 27, 2011 - Leave a Comment

Aux Combottes 1999 from Dujac was a bit disappointing. Dujac made very nice wines in 1999, but this showed very hot tones, i.e. quite heavy sweetness, prunes and tar. No doubt vintage is hot, but I really hop this Dujac wine with cellaring will become more classic style Burgundy. The potential is …
