The Chambolle Musigny from Bichot is a very impressive effort considering the vintage. In the bouquet very charming mature red fruit with notes of strawberries, raspberries and gooseberries. Only some notes of caramel is indicating a hot year like 1976. On the palate very fruity with juicy red aromas – very fresh and fruity for a 1976. It fades slightly in the glass after 10 minutes, but what a 1976 Chambolle village!
