Rich for a 2024 and borderline too ripe phenolicly. Lacks freshness and the flavors are darkish and a bit dense with a hint if sweet notes. The terroir is not winning any poits it seems ? Why not make mais and not wine. Chablis should be fresh and vivid in the 2024 vintage … this is kind of tedious at best.

When I moved to Burgundy 5 years ago decent or even good by the bottled wines were served at 30 EUR ta the restaurants.
This is rarely the case these days … 50 EUR is more the norm, and this does push the costumers away from wine or at least from buying a bottle of wine. This is where the “by the glass” market have its idea and purpose although its far from cheap or without serious problems. Its expensive to buy wine by the glass!
The markup in all chains of the wine market are very high … and you are paying my friend!!!. Enjoy the good wines … and flip the finger to the rest!
