Bouchard Pere et Fils, Beaune Clos Saint Landry 2014

By Steen Öhman May 19, 2016 -

The Beaune Saint Landry is a gorgeous and overlooked white Beaune. This monopole vineyard is located above and just south of Beaune - and produces in my view one of the best whites in the BEaune appellation. The bouquet offer cool variations of white and yellow fruits .. some exotic orchard fruits.. …

Philippe Pacalet, Chablis Beauroy 2005

By Steen Öhman May 9, 2016 -

On the palate a certain opulence (from the vintage) but still quite defined and focused - although I do prefer the acidity …

Philippe Pacalet, Chablis Beauroy 2004

By Steen Öhman May 9, 2016 -

Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, Montrachet 2009

By Steen Öhman April 29, 2016 -

My first Montrachet from Domaine de la Romanee-Conti. Expectations were very high allthough I'm not at huge fan of the 2009 vintage. I must say that I was truly impressed by this Montrachet ... tasted side by side with the otherwise outstanding Montrachet 2009 from Lafon. The nose offer expressive …

Domaine Comte de Vogüé, Bourgogne Blanc 2001

By Steen Öhman April 28, 2016 -

The Bourgogne Blanc 2001 from Vogue is fully mature, offering a nice complexty. The nose show fine matrue yellow fruit, hazelnuts, slightly buttery. On the palate quite rich and weighty, with a almost creamy texture - envigorated by the fresh 2001 acidity. Not as good as the 2000 tasted recently .. …
